I am fairly new to the game, just started picking up sets early December and will unabashedly say I have multiples of most things and about everything. Love the game so far, concept, etc.

I have read a lot of posts, and know that so much of this game has to do with precision and dancing around arcs to line up shots. That said, I was wondering if anyone has had success going balls out and trying to end the game as directly and quickly as possible? I have not spent too much time planning it, but would envision something like Corran loaded with Adv Proton Torps and Exposed, with a couple of Y or B-wings? Maybe K's? I would envision targeting the biggest threat off the bat and doing all you can between multiple attacks, secondaries and mines to drop them but enough to be able to mop up, making me lean to turrets.

Anyone do this? I do not envision being hugely competitive over a large area, but think it could be entertaining locally if it could work. Thoughts here? I can try to put one up. I just know my son, who loves to play with the Deci, would be shell shocked if I dropped his Deci in the first round and then carefully lined up his remaining.
