Alright....so Wave 8 is here and it's about time to start thinking about this. I've thought of the various Bounty ships to put out. I pulled out a bunch of these guys and made up some lists with them. I went for survival and official fluff. I have enough ships that I shouldn't use them all unless I have all the Bounty Hunters. So......I know that I won't mostly have all of these guys. Here's what I have so far:

I went with a lot of Ion Pulse and Flechette Torpedoes to just be annoying for the BH. I don't really want to kill them. I did go with one Assault Missile to try to keep them not too close together. I also didn't want anything more expensive than the Falcon. I gave Wedge maneuver stuff instead of "kill better stuff" as he's pretty deadly and the idea isn't really that the Rebels kill the BH.
Not sure on the Ghost. It's big and it would be cool to have in there, but it's such a large point increase for that and the shuttle. I might add it in only if there are a lot of players. Wasn't sure on Miranda, but thought she would be fun with the bombs and whatnot.
Can the targets kill the Bounty Hunters though? Then what happens?

I had a cunning plan for this which might make it very simple, flexible, and workable...
Give each player a set points limit. I'm thinking somewhere between 80-100 points.
Each player fields a two ship list. One scum (bounty hunter) and one rebel (target).
Players would configure their builds as they choose (with some possible thematic restrictions).
Players earn points for target kills, but obviously not for their own target.
This does favour the player with the expensive bounty hunter and cheap target, so some kind of a "last man standing" bonus for the last surviving target ship might be in order.
Maybe it's a good plan, maybe not. I just thought it might remove some of the disparity between differently costed bounty hunters whilst simultaneously helping to better divide up the target ships between the controlling players.
