I admit that I have never been the obsessive, tournament-oriented gamer. I much prefer scenario based games but have played in and done well in standard 100 v 100 point matches. I just find them boring and limited and lacking in imagination. But, hey, that's just me...

Anyway... I am trying to build a 100 pt squad from the following:

T-70 X-wing

K-wing

E-wing

I'm stumped. I used to find list building fun but now... not so much. Not sure why. So I am throwing it out there for you fine folks who are still inspired.

I think you'll be hard pressed to fit all three into one list without seriously sacrificing the capabilities of at lease one of the ships.

Corran is the only viable E-wing pilot available at this time beacuse of how expensive the ship is and Poe Dameron is imo far and away the best T-70 pilot currently available. combined with common loadouts that puts you at between 83 and 85 points.

Veteran Instinct (1) or Push the Limit (3)

Engine Upgrade (4)

Fire Control System (2)

R2-D2 (4)

Poe Dameron (31)

R5-P9 (3)

Autothrusters (2)

Vetern Instinct (1)

Total: 83 (with VI) 85 (with PTL)

a naked K-wing will run you 23 points which won't fit.

This might be interesting:

K wing generates 2 focus tokens that it can give out to other ships at range 1-2 during attacks or use for the TLT. Red Vet can throw stress and still be okay on offence and defense with wired while stressed, especially if the K wing is offering a focus when attacking. The E wing takes a focus action and borrows from the K wing on offence and saves it's own token for regeneration. Not great but it might be worth a try. It's going to really struggle against high PS aces.

The E wing is the hard ship to play, if it's not Corran Horn.

You could also trade the tactician and ion bomb for Chewbacca on Miranda if its not working for you.

I don't know why more people don't try R7 + FCS. Its a great combo and helps keep the knave alive longer than you might expect (he's also a nice little blocker when you need it).
