I am not sure how this will work but I think it will be fun. The plan is to be first player and let Admonition and Foresight to take the brunt of the attacks.

I still need to change the objectives. While Most Wanted is nice, it is not as great as Precision Strike in this list. As for the yellow. . . I am not sure. . . There is nothing there that fits my current ideology for Objectives (a Discussion Time thread will be up on this so I) so we shall see. . .

The 2.0 list won but I am not sure how I feel about it. . .

I love the concept here and looked at almost an identical list, but with the lack of Brace and the re-direct nerf vs Xi-7's you are going to get murdered. The very concept of Admonition and Foresight fails to be effective at close range, and you will need to be at close range to deliver damage.

It's a horrible choice, but I think Reikeen is your admiral here, charge in from the rear and open fire with as many shrimps as you can vs one enemy ship.

Mon Mothma provides critical double-die rerolls for Foresight at Close Range.

Admonition allows you to be discarding a die, effectively a medium/long function of evade, at close range, after an Evade Reroll due to Mon Mothma...

They are so many times more effective at close range, due to Mon Mothma .

With any other admiral, I'd agree to your point - but the Venerable Old Lady of the Rebellion makes all the difference here...

I'd be sorely tempted to drop an A-wing in order to fit Lando in somewhere, and to increase your initiative bid even further. The difference between 2 vs 3 squadrons probably doesn't make a huge difference, but Lando might, at a crucial time.

I am 2 short myself but I need to get that many so I have a full set of Turbolaser Reroute Circuts (I go by sets of 4)

That being said, Armada still isn't nearly as bad about having to buy a whole expansion for one card as x wing is.

That being said, Armada still isn't nearly as bad about having to buy a whole expansion for one card as x wing is.

I have 5 Nebs and 3 of those are from the Expansions. I still need a 6th though for that last Xi7. . .

Speaking nebulons and fun lists:

X6 nebulon b support with slaved turrets and ackbar comes to 380 points. Thats 24 red dice a turn from front or side arc (only 3 from back). Not much squadron support though..

XI-7s aren't NEARLY as large a concern as I initially thought they'd be. They do hurt Redirects, but they do nothing vs. Evade. They're also rapidly being replaced with TRCs and other weapons in most lists.

XI-7s aren't NEARLY as large a concern as I initially thought they'd be. They do hurt Redirects, but they do nothing vs. Evade. They're also rapidly being replaced with TRCs and other weapons in most lists.

I still don't get why people used them in Wave 1. Only the VSD 2 had enough damage to make it worthwhile

I would consider switching foresight to scout torp and putting mon mothma on there, but i can see why you might not.

Foresight works best at medium/long range not short, and if kept at medium range becomes a fortress, hence why I suggest switching variant.

Meh, getting to force 2 red or black dice to reroll at close range is amazing to me. It is rare that Mon Mothma has let me down in that regards. I just get out of luck when my opponent rolls the double hit or hit/crit again. . .
