I've wanted the Senators Shuttle ever since I played that scenario.
I want it too, but largely because the refitted version is more like a corvette. Same size too. I may get one.

Cute, but I was thinking more this:
I don't know about Imps, but maybe we'll get more Scum out of this movie? There was that first escape option on Jakku, that big four engine one. Maybe a Scum Large and Huge ship too? That ship the gangers showed up on could be a large ship, and the one The Man Himself was flying at first, that one could be a huge ship. Maybe even some kind of docking gimmick goin' on there possibly...
There is also a ton of comic books coming out right now for FFG to draw from as well... heheheh
Edited by DarkcloakOkay seriously speaking.
We have an awesome game of highly detailed pre-painted miniatures with card board asteroids, satellites and support craft. I agree I don't know how well it will sell but I bet it would not be a bust and they would still do fairly well.
Sure I could buy the above model for $189.00 but that is unlikely or I could go to shapeways. But the primary reason I got into this game was the highly detailed pre-painted miniatures and only later played and love the game. So unless shapeways has the same detail and paint just for $14.95 MSRP and their ships are part of the FFG X-Wing rules it isn't the same.
Highly detailed pre-painted miniatures with highly detailed pre-painted asteroids, satellites and support craft for missions would be AWESOME (you can't hear me sing that last word but i did in my head). AWESOME......
I think expansions that are previous scenario pices, turned into Models would be cool. Conatiners, destroyed ships, etc.
Fair point. Still, I find the amount I payed on my DX9, Frigate and Escort shuttle to proxy as a shuttle, Frigate/scenery / Firespray to be worth it.

At the very least, FFG should make acrylic obstacle markers.
Gun platforms would be nice as well, and more logical in a space skirmish game than turbolaser towers.
I think FFG has quite a few more options with TIE variants. It's coming folks.. The TIE with a Turret.
The Aggressor - I think - TIEs are running out tho. Disney needs to make mawr new stuff ![]()

TIE Aggressor...
Edit: Ninja'ed.
Edited by DariusAPBDefinitely hard to figure out exactly where they'll go next. Plenty of EU/Legends ships, but of those maybe only so many that would be a good fit for the game. I could go for some Clone Wars era ships, at least to some degree. Basically what I'm saying is that I want a Jedi Starfighter. Skip everything else. Haha
Well technically there were 2 more imperial ships on screen, they just don't seem X-Wing-worthy.
The drop ships that the Stormtroopers stormed out of, (Though those are probably restricted to low altitude or ground-based) and the ships that carried them down from the Star Destroyer to the Planet. Basically the drop ships are dropped off by a drop-ship carrier. I could see one being a 4-crew option if you want a weak support ship with tons of crew options. But even so it's a stretch.
IIRC they actually show the drop ships in space at one point. I doubt they're geared for very long treks but they definitely are space faring.
However, they would make terrible ships in X-Wing.
Yeah, It's like this white shuttle thing in the OT. Totally useless, can't see a point for it in space...
I mean, it's just some beautiful ivory galactic manitee or something.
Yeah but they fluffed that out to have cannons and anti-pursuit lasers and such.
This, the fluff they've released says it has a turret. I know some in the XWTMG community think just having a turret automatically makes ships super OP but it's not enough for me to think it's going to be interesting.

Then, two TIEs with turrets!
