The Empire is a huge organization, they probably have a couple of different models. Captain Needa's movie shutte has wings pointing out, pretty sure about that though.

I haven't purchased the Bomber yet.......purely as i'm not a fan of the way it looks.

I have converted lots of different Tie Models.......but never even thought of doing that.

The TIE Shuttle is canon, right there on the movie screen since 1980. 'Reversed' wings and all.

I disagree. I've yet to see an image that convinced me that it's wings were reversed.

Meanwhile, the thing has been in a half-a-dozen sourcebooks and technical manuals with completely normal bomber wings.

I have always taken sourcebooks with a huge grain of salt. The early encyclopedias and the 'Essentail' guide to vehicles and vessels soured me with their poor research, disregard for the actual movie evidence, and horrible editing overall. Sorry, the movie trumps the legends, unless it's just a different variation of model, which is entirely possible.

Have to agree with DarthEnderX to a degree, the image in the movie clip is too small to say for sure what the wings looked like. The empire storyboard panel is interesting but doesn't quite clinch it for me, things often change quite a lot after those are drawn up.

I may be biased though as I think the flipped wings look terrible.

I thought they looked silly too, inverted solar arrays? Pfft! I always wanted to invert the wings on a Defender...

... then I actually got to play with one and now I like the way it looks.

Looks great! I prefer the more standart version, but it does look quite amazing.
