I have very little experiencie playing 100 pts competitive battles. I will load 4 Academy Tie LN plus some Tie FO, and play vs somebody. Never played this way with FOs. Give me some options, 52 pts, to give them a try.

Perhaps a named pilot plus Stealth Device and two naked ones, not very imaginative...

My suggestion would be one of the following:

2 FO aces + 4 mooks:

Omega Leader w/ Juke & Comm Relay = 26

Zeta Leader w/ predator & comm relay = 26

4 academies = 48

100

Or a 7 ship swarm:

Epsilon Leader w/ comm relay = 22

2 epsilons = 30

4 academies = 48

Howlrunner with shield upgrade is a decent alternative to Eppy leader

I played the Howlrunner variant.

Played against the most topic BBBBZ and loose by a wide margin, bad flying and mediocre defence rolls. Howlrunner and 2 LN were gone at the end of turn 2, and 22 shield are hard to bypass...

A beat, but enjoyable. I played against and unknown player, a good game mate, and a good experiencia.

He is a 19 years old gamer, and was very polite not to cheer when.he blasted Howlrunner, one shot at 29 ctms... two.crits
