Hey yall, this is Ryan from Hammond, Louisiana. Did some checking around and didn't see much in the way of posts on here for Louisiana Gamers. Wanted to let everyone know a few things and ways to find us. We currently have two main stores where we play regularly.

I am the TO and judge for Big Easy Comics in Covington, and we just finished up our League on Sunday. We will be starting a new League towards the later half of January. I wasn't sure if we were gathering store championship dates in one location but our championship will be Sunday, January 17th. We play on Thursdays nights, but there are other nights where people get together to play in the store. One good thing about our store is that you can become a member to the game room and have 24 hour access, so we can have games going even on closed days or after hours. We try to have tournaments about every 6 weeks, or as leagues and kits allow.

Our other primary game store is called +1 Gaming and is in Metairie, just outside of New Orleans. A good friend of mine runs a monthly tournament there on Sundays for store credit and tournament kits as well. They are having the store championship on Sunday, February 28th.

I know of three other stores in the area. Go4Games in Metairie, which I don't believe does much in the way of organized X-wing events. Little Wars in Baton Rouge does plenty of FFG events, but has been having trouble getting X-wing running from what I understand. They are having a store championship although I am unsure when. I've also been informed that Gamer's Paradise in Prairieville has started getting product in and will begin a league soon. Their soon-to-be-TO was in touch with me recently.

If anyone is looking for a game we also have groups on Facebook. St Tammany Star Wars Gamers as well as Gulf Coast X-wing. We try to keep everyone informed about games going on in the area for X-wing, as well as Armada and the LCG.

We just had some people stop in the store to get their x-wing fix while visiting their family for 2 weeks. If anyone has any questions about X-wing in this area, let me know.
