Taking advantage of post-veterans Vessery.

Vessery gets to attack first, and between Tomax and Alozen, there should always be a target lock for Vessery to take advantage of. Vessery shoots first, so Tomax won't have an issue with using his TL, and between Crack Shot, Tractor Beam, and Guidance Chips, Bren should have very little issue getting in some heavy hits. The only issue with this is I'm not certain how often I'd be able to get Alozen in range 1 for his ability, so most of his actions would have to be Target Lock.

I've also thought about using a Bomber Shuttle and Vader to support him:

I'm not so sold on this one, though. Bit more control oriented, with the shuttle being able to work sort of as a stress bot, while passing focus out to Vessery and Vader as needed.

What would you guys do for lists like this?

I think I like your 2nd list better, although I am partial to the dark lord of the sith....

For the first list, I don't think veteran instincts is doing much for you on Alozen. I guess it does help against aggressors. If you have a 2nd crack shot card, I would put it here. I don't think you will have too much trouble getting value out of Alozen. He's the least threatening target here, so your opponent may very well ignore him until the other 2 are dead, allowing him to get some work done...

For the second list, I am not really a fan of engine on Vessery. I get that with fleet officer, you get an extra mobility option with it, but Vessery doesn't really need it. In fact, I don't think he benefits much from fleet officer shuttle. I would suggest hull upgrade on Vessery (freeing up 1 point for Veteran Instincts on Vader) and maybe consider dropping fleet officer for Rebel Captive on the shuttle. The stress from captive doesn't stack with mara jade, but its still useful in discouraging shots against the shuttle, and sometimes, you can't get all the enemy ships with Mara...
