Looking to find folks to play against, preferably at Full Spectrum games in Arlington, or Generation X comics in Bedford. Unfortunately, I can't normally make the Thursday night, so I'm hoping to find people available at other times.
X-Wing games at Full Spectrum or GenX?
It's probably a bit of a trek, but Madness runs X-Wing Friday nights from 5pm to Midnight. Has quite a few players.
Yeah, I work in north Fort Worth, and live in south Arlington. Much as I absolutely love the place, Madness is way too far for me to go during the week, and even on weekends, it's a special occasion kind of trek.
I understand completely. You might consider Common Ground Games. It's not TOO far from you and has gaming on Tuesdays.
I've never actually heard of that place. Even if I don't end up playing there, I'll have to check out the store itself. Thanks!

I too have been looking for players. I want to get tournament ready. I am towards the North of Fort Worth which makes it a bit hard on me to accomplish that goal.
In terms of stores closer to Arlington (that are still within a reasonable distance of me).. Generation X is the closest for me. I can perhaps try to do Common Ground Games in Dallas but, it will be limited. I would have to use the Train to get over there the easiest. If I do that, my availability will be a lot less than Generation X.
Generation X has X Wing nights every Thursday starting at 7 PM. They go until closing. I should be able to devote enough gas and time to do that, and perhaps games on Saturday and Sunday.
The only other thing I can think of outside of those 2, is perhaps the Sci-Fi Factory. I am not sure where you work exactly but, the Sci-Fi Factory is in North Fort worth sort of by Keller. I have never been there but, depending what your hours are, I may be able to show up there to do a game (when you are done with work).
Before I sign out, I will link you the Texas Store Championships Thread. It contains a decent listing of the stores. Here
