I got a core set for Christmas and played it with family and friends. Loving the game, I set out to buy 2 more core sets. Every brick and mortar shop in town is sold out with no ETA. I went online and every site is sold out. The only thing I can find is people reselling at 300% markup. I came here and it says it is awaiting reprint and the expansions are either "on the boat" or "in development"

Are there any more details on these statuses?

How long does "Awaiting Reprint" actually take to reprint and get to stores?

What boat do they use? It's been "On the boat" for weeks. Which ocean are they crossing and are there any hurricanes?

When can we expect to be able to buy a core set?

What country are you in? That could make a considerable difference to our recommendations about where to look for more cores - but I will admit, the cores are pretty sparse right now. However, if you have any local players, they're almost always happy to lend you cards while you wait - I strongly recommend seeing if there's a local Thrones community!

The only other information I can give you right now is the official guidelines on the upcoming products page; typically a product is printed in China, goes "on the boat" for 4-6 weeks, then "shipping now" for 7-10 days, after which it's available in Stores in the US. It does look like by consolidating distributors etc (new "Asmodee North America" distribution model) they may be enforcing street dates and other things which might cause further slight delays, but that's just speculation.

The next Chapter Pack hit "On the Boat" on the 24th of November, so we'd expect it to hit "shipping now" sometime this week, and be available in stores 7-10 days after that.

There's no fixed period how long something could be awaitint reprint (that's entirely dependent on how heavily they prioritize it in their "Queue"), or how long it takes to print (that, presumably, is dependent on how much product is printed and how much time it takes to coordinate the manufacture of all the componenets (box, tokens, cards, wrap, etc)).

not really a "Living" Card game with 2 general releases in 4 months...

If you are in the States, try looking in your local Barnes & Nobles I was able to find a core set there.

I'm hearing from several different places that the core sets are restocking (I believe CoolstuffInc and some local stores). Good news!

I have 1 unopened core Id sell but at this point it would have to be at a fair mark up esp sense I cant get the dang 1st Chap pack (they too are all out of stock!!)

Yeah most of the time it behave a bit slow to play...

For anybody in Norway or Sweden, Adlibris have them in stock (unknown quantities). None of the chapter packs are even on the list though :/
