Okay so I have a tournament coming up, and I was heavily considering using this build:

The idea is to keep the Raiders close to the Avenger, and activate them first and force a target ship to shed some defensive tokens before following up with the Avenger.
The Glad would be used as a flanker.
While a heavy squadron build worries me, the collective AA values of all the ships could dish out some serious hurt. I'm tempted to replace the tractor beams with a quad turret on the Avenger just to help.
The idea is to concede initiative and force my opponent to pick objectives that would bring them to me. Precision Strike would be the most ideal, since a target with fewer defensive tokens may be letting more damage in.
