Hello. I have been reading, and sharing my ideas with everyone who is theory crafting new builds. In one of the posts, I was told the Arvel Cynyd Intimidation that I suggested, would not work. It was suggested to use Gemmer Sojan or Jake Farrell. So I took it under consideration and made a completely new build. I am not sure how well it would work, and would appreciate a second opinion if you all don't mind. Here it is:
5x A-Wing: 1x Green with Crack Shot and Chardaan, 3x Green with A-Wing Test Pilot, Crack Shot, Wingman and Chardaan, Gemmer Sojan with A-Wing Test Pilot, Crack Shot and Chardaan
What was I thinking?
-I have noticed the "Stress Boat" strategy becoming more common. With 3 A-Wing's with Wingman, you can get yourself out of that mess fairly quick. If "Stress Boats" are not present, it gives you more maneuver options (K-Turns).
-Can switch the Wingman to Juke if need be.
-It's possible for a Tourny player to make a mistake. This build was designed for high defense, in the event that a mistake is made, or you are up against a build that is just as maneuverable as you.
-Tie F/O's have an equal amount of HP to an A-Wing, and they are the same cost (assuming Chardaan). A-Wing's get more Elite Upgrades, and have Boost. This means the A-Wing can move as much as 6 Straight, with the 5 Straight being a Green for them. A-Wings get a 5, and a 3 K-Turn.
-With nothing to spend on for 1 point, you can leave it alone and always get initiative.
-Assuming someone picked up a bunch of A-Wing's to start X-Wing TMG, this is more flexible than a Tie F/O build. You can move down to 4 A-Wing's, and run an Alpha Strike build.
This is all I have. Any suggestions or comments?
