FFG Armada Support! WTF

By Cutter9999, in Star Wars: Armada

How are people already bored with what we have? I've literally played probably 50 games of Wave 2 and I feel there is still so much more to explore!!

Are you playing so much you're bored with it already?

Give FFG a break. I do not want them to churn product out as fast as they can. Wave 2 is so delightfully balanced, I want wave 2 to be more of the same.

This, so much this!

I'd be happy for there to be no mention of wave 3 at all in January, given the wait that we ended up with I want some time to enjoy wave 2 for a while without thinking about what is coming in the next expansions.

Ditto. I usually get in at least a game a week and there is wave one stuff (unique squads, titles and upgrades) I have yet to play with.

Not bored at all. I'd wager if we were bored, we wouldn't care about wave 3 much at all.

Being excited for future stuff is simply a sign that the game is awesome. Also some of us have grown accustomed to X-Wing's method of nearly always having something "on the horizon" so to speak, so now that there is nothing it might worry some people. I'm pretty sure that isn't the case here, but either way I'm extremely eager to see which direction they are taking the game with the next wave.

"Will it be ships from Rebels?", "Will it be EU (Legends) ships?", "Will it be an Episode 7 based wave? and if so, what will they actually do with it?" - All exciting questions!

I feel they were exciting the first 3 times they were asked...

But after that, I was doing what I could to ignore the new threads that kept popping up... Then apparently, in this one, I got fairly sarcastic...

For the record, I don't doubt that Its the Ship on the Card.

I just doubt it means a **** thing.

Pretty much this.

If you look at all the X-Wing artwork, it really doesn't mean a **** thing.

these posts are a snore... this generation of people seem to through temper tantrums when instant gratification isn't achieved.

Patience is a virtue my friends, new will come in due time.

what's funny is the liberty is in a card as well and no one noticed

Having lived the highs and lows of rapid releases through massive delays (for whatever reason) with X-Wing, I'm quite content for there to be gaps in the release schedule. Right now, for Xwing, all the talk is on things that won't be out for weeks, as if everyone is already bored with the Gozanti along with the T70 and TIE/fo that were just barely released two weeks ago.

If were quoting Yoda I would ask him if Wave 2 is the last wave.

"There is another..."

When they put the Resistance T-70 X Wing and First Order Tie Fighter into the game to be played with the ships from the original Rebelion and the Galactic Empire.

I meant mix eras in one wave. I'd expect a OT wave or a... what's the initialism for the new sequence of films? ST (sequel trilogy)? NT (new trilogy)? I'll go with ST because a) it's part of the name At-ST and 1) because NT makes me think of Windows.

I'd expect an OT wave or an ST wave, but not a mixed one.

Wave 8 of X-Wing is a "mixed" wave. VERY mixed, in fact. Granted, it also arrived in a staggered fashion, however the standalone T-70 and TIE/FO (JJ-Wars) are considered by FFG part of the same wave as the Ghost and Inquisitor's TIE (Rebels) and Mist Hunter and Punishing One (original trilogy).

They're not really the same wave though, they weren't even announced together, that's just a timing issue brought about by the Force Awakens release, it's a bit late for that to happen with Armada.

I predict at the least we will see the Interdictor (now canon) the Liberty MC80, the Arquitens and the GR75.

Substitute the CR75 with a DP20. DP20 is the only ship we even have a hint of for wave 3.

Hmm. Was that the CR90 looking ship from Rebels? The one Vader blew up? That's another canon ship we might see.

If people want to see the end result of churned out waves, just look to Star Trek: Attack Wing. That game had promise until wave after wave came flying out the doors with very little playtesting IMHO. Turned what could have been a decent game into mud.

In a perfect world i'd like to see 1 release a month rather than 5/6 releases every 6 months, but that's not how the logistics of FFG work so just gotta manage !

Just pray he doesn't reply with "Always two there are. No more, no less."

So is virginity, but that doesn't make the waiting any easier.

I haven't even play my first game yet :(
