Maybe I should elaborate on the original comment......
I am not expecting wave III products to start shipping any time soon.....however, it would be nice if we had an article or two stating that we can expect the Armada product to be supported within the next 12 months or so. I am not actually sure that there is concrete information as to if there will be a wave III release.

Good things come in time. I too am excited to hear about new wave. I have no doubt FFG has pure awesome sauce in the works.

Wave 1 was released at GenCon in 2012, that was August 16th
Wave 2 was released on February 28th (look at that it was over 6 months) while their Kessel Run event (same thing as our Sullust event) occurred in December. Oh to help you more, They previewed Wave 2 in September 2012.
Wave 3 was released on September 13th, WOW what a long wait there! You know. . . Wave 3 was not even announced until May 4th so that was 2 months from the time of Wave 2's release

After wave 4, FFG started to really pick up its pace, in fact it announced waves, 5, 6, and 7 all in 2014. Hmmmm, personally I think you and all of those who are complaining need to settle down and look enjoy what we have so far.
I'm pretty excited about wave 3 too (gotta be a Liberty, no idea about the Empire. I'd love a Finalizer but I doubt they'll mix eras), but after all the recent X-Wing and IA stuff out recently I don't mind a wait!

They might, they seem to have no problem doing it to X Wing and it would nicely for a Epic styled match instead of the cumbersome Executor.
Wave three. Squadron pack for imperial. Tie defender. Period.
That is all that will be released for wave three. The rest will be delayed due to wave 11 of xwing.

When they put the Resistance T-70 X Wing and First Order Tie Fighter into the game to be played with the ships from the original Rebelion and the Galactic Empire.
I predict at the least we will see the Interdictor (now canon) the Liberty MC80, the Arquitens and the GR75.
I really don't understand the impatience. I am usually able to get a good game, maybe two, per week at my FLGS and I have yet to try out all the different lists that I want to.
There are so many variants to toy with in list building and ones that can be thrown at you from the other side of the table, that it laughable how many lists I've got saved that won't see actual table time anytime soon.

Yeah but I don't see that it would have the same use for Armada. For Xwing they combined it with the opportunity to launch a new core set (new damage deck, some reverse upgrades etc).
For armada at most we would have Finaliser, two FO variant tie fighters and an Xwing, the latter three not really beng the opportunity for new miniatures at this scale. sonot really sure what they would bring gameplay wise either - Tie FO have shields sure, so at best we would have something between a Tie F and a Tie advanced. Not really addig much.
So plonking Episode 3 stuff in now I feel would just muck around with the aescthetic without really adding much value.

IMO they'd be mad to pass up more canon ships in favour of EU stuff.
I get why the used the VSD and AFmkII for the core set/wave 1, because of the size/price point of the large, canon ships (MC80 and ISD, the obvious picks for a core box), but I think they really need to push out all the stuff we've seen from Rebels and the original trilogy before we start getting into more EU ships.
For gameplay reasons, I expect medium ships for this wave. If they don't have any "canon' types that suit (and there are examples in the new tarkin and lost stars books) I think they will develop something new rather than EU gunk.

I meant mix eras in one wave. I'd expect a OT wave or a... what's the initialism for the new sequence of films? ST (sequel trilogy)? NT (new trilogy)? I'll go with ST because a) it's part of the name At-ST and 1) because NT makes me think of Windows.
I'd expect an OT wave or an ST wave, but not a mixed one.

DT1 - Disney trilogy 1

Substitute the CR75 with a DP20. DP20 is the only ship we even have a hint of for wave 3.

How are people already bored with what we have? I've literally played probably 50 games of Wave 2 and I feel there is still so much more to explore!!

Give FFG a break. I do not want them to churn product out as fast as they can. Wave 2 is so delightfully balanced, I want wave 2 to be more of the same.

I'd be happy for there to be no mention of wave 3 at all in January, given the wait that we ended up with I want some time to enjoy wave 2 for a while without thinking about what is coming in the next expansions.
