i play rebels but i wanted to know a good list for a tie swarm using the Tie/FO

I haven't used this yet but I thought looked solid

All with crackshot

That is a 6 ship swarm that can keep Howlrunner alive for a bit.

crackshot is the name of the swarm game

unless you go down to 5 ships, which is mini-swarm territory, for some powerful named FOs ala Omega and Zeta Leader

The only thing I can say to help, is to repeat what the experts said, and point out something. In more than one Tournament Recording from this year, they said they are not seeing Swarm Builds much more. They said the reason was because of the new Large Ship builds or builds designed to counter them.

I noticed this when I started my Scum and Villainy Kihraxz build. Originally it was loosely based on a 5 Kihraxz Meta. The meta for the most part started to disappear. I switched to 4 Kihraxz as a result.

My current Kihraxz squad is experimenting with a Cartel Marauder, Black Sun Ace (Body Guard), Graz the Hunter, and a Talonbane Cobra. If the attacker is in Graz's arc, he gets 1 bonus Agility. The Body Guard gives Talonbane another agility. Essentially I am running 2 Aces, with 3 Agility at Range 1. When Tracer Missiles come out.. I will be rolling Focuses and Target Locks at the same time (more effectively).

My total Hit Points is 20, and my damage (at range 1) is 17. Your total HP is 16, and damage (at range 1) is 15. I already have a 4 HP, and a 2 damage advantage. The question you have to ask yourself can you beat that?

If the answer is yes, can you beat the next possible Scum Meta? Its using a YV 666 with Ion Projectors. If you bump that.. you run the risk of being Ion'ed

For the rest, i can only say that Crackshot Swarm is pretty much the only competitive way at the moment. I have not tried it at a Tournament yet (i wanted to but there were too few participants to do the tournament, so we just played some casual games) but in other games the Crackshot swarm was very convincing. I have beaten competitive lists like Palpmobile with Soontir/Carnor as well as 4YTLT with it, which shows that it can punch through Stealth devices as well as quickly kill 1 agility ships.

For me the list to go has been 3 Omega squadron /w Crackshot and 3 Black squadron /w Crackshot.

Howlrunner is nice and all but i prefer not being bound to move as a tight group and i don't lose as many actions when things get clustered on the table since all pilots have PS4.

My bad, I thought that read as 2 Hull Upgrades on the Omega Squad Pilot. I'm still learning the ropes here

As for the earlier comment yes that is true. Only one copy of Body Guard. I typed that post when I was very tired. I screwed up on my list and edited. I thought I took body guard out of the 2nd line. Oh well

Well to be honest there are really better EPT's than Bodyguard in almost any case.

I've been running:

Howlrunner + crackshot + hull upgrade

Scourge + crackshot

Black Sq + crackshot x4
