Where does it say huge ships shoot first. I thought it was according to pilot skill?

You are forgetting that epic ships move after small and large based ships, and shoot before them too

Nope they only move last - they shoot at the PS value printed on the ship card / token

I'm building my first Epic Gozanti list, and I find myself asking "what will the Gozanti do once the TIEs have deployed?" The answer I've come up with is "Slicer Tools". Any ship that relies on PTL will be shut down hard. Any ship that K-Turns or Trolls will hate it.

And then my Raider will muder the rest.

Slicer Tools is an amazing card... and you pay for it too... but its worth at least one in every Epic fleet IMHO...

You could add a second Gozanti with 4 Tie bombers, this would be the hang back ship. On call if you need the big boy toys, or if you need it right away for a secondary objective that needs to be dealt with. I would not drop any ships. Go an the principal of the Empire , " When any doubt exists.......use a sledgehammer to kill the fly ". They are the empire they have a ton of stuff so use it:)
