So my brother and i were playing a game a couple days ago and we got into a confusing situation. He deployed a cluster mine, a round later i decided to risk a k-turn and attempt to get a lucky roll but anyways. His ship ended up blocking my k-turn and i ended up bumping another one of my ships.

Now to my question: do i roll for damage from the mine(my maneuver template did overlap it) but my ship bumped way before i reached the mine?

We played it as a no but this was one of those rare circumstances you dont really think about. Thankyou for any clarification and Happy New Years to you all.

Q: a ship executes a maneuver in which its template or final position overlaps an obstacle or mine token. Due to avoiding collisions with other ships, it ends up stopping before reaching the obstacle or mine token. Does it still suffer the effects of moving through or overlapping that obstacle or mine token?
