I know that HUGE ships cannot get a free action but I am just getting clarification on whether a Raider and/or Imperial Assault Carrier ship can coordinate with another Raider and/or Imperial Assault Carrier? If not, is there any alternatives for a HUGE ship to get another action on their action bar? Thanks.

Short answer: no, and no.

Action economy is one of the big bottlenecks for huge ships. Currently the only thing we're sure can give a huge ship any action economy boost is Automated Protocols, and they had to change the rules to let that work.

Huge ships cannot use free actions.

The new update to this is Automated Protocols comes with the now released IAC and it says in that ships rulebook inert that it can use free actions from equipped cards. This has opened a can of worms as we don't know if it means just the free action listed on the card or now all free actions, such as from the co-ordinate action.

If you are not using the A.P. card from the IAC box then play it with no free actions. If you want to use A.P. then you'll have to clear a ruling with your opponent/T.O. on how it works before playing. If you can get an agreement then go with that ruling until the FAQ addresses the Huge ship free action issue.
