Hey sorry I can't find the answer to this

The initial deployment group for he Empire is <black> Imperial Officer (2) and <black> Probe Droid (2)

In the core set there is only one card each that supports one model. On the map for the deployment spots it shows one of each with a grey border and one of each with a black border.

What does this mean and how can I do two of them?

If that is true your core set is missing some pieces. You should have 2 regular and 1 elite deployment cards of the officer and of the probe droids.

Your core set should have 3 models, 2 regular deployment cards and 1 elite deployment card for the officer and probe droid.

You need to go back and look for the second regular deployment card for each that should have come with your box, and if you can't find it contact FFG and let them know it's missing.

The models were all there...I just have two core sets so separated out the "extras" cards (once I bought the models expansion packs) and these got mixed in.
