This is just a quick mockup list to work with that I built up for an upcoming 200 point casual tournament. I'm not expecting amazing things - I'm still not particularly great - but I'm trying to build a fun, unique list to fly.

I'm assuming that, other than when facing other Gozantis, I won't see many swarms, so I'll have Deathrain and my ties to whittle down targets. Deathrain should be able to be a huge threat to any epic ship that doesn't have jam, while the Gozanti provides enough support that he should be able to deal with just about anything that comes up. Deathrain can also drop surprise cluster mines with Gozanti giving him a coordinate action, and can be given focus and target locks from its support.

The main things I'm not certain of are the makeup of the Ties, and the title for the Gozanti. I'd need to practice deploying ties a little, seeing if they can all deploy at once or not. As for the ties, I'm using FO because I don't actually have 4 ties(my two core set ones got badly broken, and I've never replaced them), and I wanted to play with the FO uniques, though I'm not sure who I would use, or if I should drop something off the Punisher to make room for another one. Not even sure I really like the Comm Relays if they're deploying from the Gozanti.

I haven't got anything to say about the Gozanti since I haven't got one and probably never will (nothing wrong with it, but I'm just not that interested in it).

However, I think Deathrain here doesn't do much for you. He's too easy to kill and he's also a bit overloaded. Generally, I think the punisher would do quite well in epic, but I would want a nice fighter screen in front of it, and I would even prefer to run 2, or at least one punisher and perhaps a pair of bombers. But in epic, there's more ships and stuff can die to focus fire so having a bunch of fighters to run in front or some other big target to distract your opponent is kind of essential so that the punisher/bombers can deliver their payloads.

Deathrain can't really do his thing here because he's too obvious a target. Generic punishers with missiles/torps (or redline) would be more useful imho.

I'd hesitate to put 25% of your epic force on a one agility small base. It's got firepower but also a giant kick me sign. It would totally be my primary target. With only 200 points I'd drop the Punisher and put either academy TIEs or Alpha squad with autothrusters for impact. A pair of TIE Bombers with a small payload would work too.

In my limited Epic experience, lots of cheap ships is better than few expensive ships. The middle becomes a blocking furball mess so action dependent ships become dicey.

Can't post a mockup since I'm on my phone, but my other ideas are a couple named Tie Advanced pilots in place of the punisher, or more named FOs and Soontir.
