Gotta ask… why five Phantoms?

HEHEHE!!! Good question!

It was too good of a deal to pass up! We got three from a friend getting out of the game after we had already bought two! Its also how I got to six bombers quickly too! But Ive actually fielded all six in one game! I need to put all five Phantoms on the table one day just to say I did it at least once!

My Empire Fleet

Put Those Lambda wings down! LET THEM BE FREE!!!!!

Here's my (poorly framed and lit) Imperial fleet at the moment:

Currently missing a pair of Firesprays, a Lambda and some random TIEs here and there being painted. I'm not super happy with how this pic came out so I'll probably retake it once I have the rest of the ships back in.

Here is my lowly fleet, but it has pieces to make a lot of interesting things...

Hey, I'm not too far behind the OP! Well, some of those are a bit pricey options, though.

-4 less Tie fighters

-5 less FO's

-no Phantoms for ethical reasons

-1 less Shuttle, Decimator, and Gozanti

-2 less Bombers

-1 less Punisher

Well....I guess it seems bigger once I count it up!!!

Plainsman, you know you need to buy another Alpha Interceptor.....here are a couple reasons to help 'motivate'...

1. You only have one copy of Alpha, Avenger, Turr, and Fel (if you don't have the promo). I know I didn't include Fel's Wrath

2. It would then give your fleet better symmetry, by putting one defender between two Alphas, the way it is now is sooooo close.

Here is mine!

I did a little bit of a clean up on the already awesome minis.

I painted some of the grey areas that were missed and added shading and highlights.

I also added a personal touch by painting the front lasers green, and painting some red OSL on the rear thrusters.

I was thinking about adding blood stripes, but I really like the simplicity of the Ties, so I think I will leave them as is.

You COULD run 4 shuttles, you should have four shuttles. At least 3.
