Inquisitor's Dial conversation

"Hey, that Prototype we made was too maneuverable, better cut back on the engines for the mass production version."

- The Empire, probably

Probably a good thing they did this, or else Vader would have just done a couple of 90 degree turns in the Death Star trench after the Falcon flew in and gotten right back on Luke's tail.

If the TAP is the prototype for the Advanced then the loss of maneuverability and boost from the TAP for the Advanced makes sense. Adding 50% more hull to the ship to house a hyperdrive and other equipment can only be detrimental to the Advanced maneuver profile compared to the TAP's.

I think that tie-in material (Rebels Visual Guide?) clarifies the Inquisitor's model as already having a hyperdrive. That said, "beefing it up" coming at a cost, does fit.

I wonder if 5 of the PS 2 generics w/ V1 and Autothrusters would be good? More survivable than 5 x Alphas due to the V1 title.

Still, I can't wait to throw together a crazy Imperial list that doesn't duplicate a single ship type and be good.
