Since there are a few, I thought it might be best if we all consolidate our thoughts into one spoileriffic thread. I won't post in this initial post, so that people won't see anything untoward by accidentally sneak peaking.
/Spoiler TFA Crew and cards speculation thread /Spoiler.
Right, so i'll start.
Rey in the Falcon - Extra evades maybe?
Finn for some kind of gunnery bonus.
Hux, Phasma?
I still think Kylo would be mirrored vader, suffering a face up card for 2 (hits) against a target.
Speaking as an ISO9000 auditor.
Nope.
Special Forces Tail Gunner
TIE/sf only
Points ?
You may fire missiles outside you arc; also you may reduce your primary attack by one and target ships in base contact with you, even if they are outside your firing arc.
This accomplishhes everything that a TIE/sf needs to do.
Kylo Ren
If all your dice show up blank, for each one you may deal yourself a facedown damage card, and rotate the die to a side of your choice.
Edited by That Blasted SamophlangeFor the TIE SF I'd give it a crew slot, but make a SF only gunner make it PWT.

But, reduce primary attack by one to attack outside arc, and fire missiles outside arc could work.
Edited by That Blasted SamophlangeTrue, it'd need missile slots etc also. Adding a line saying "missiles can fire backwards too" would fix it. This said. Do they?
admittedly I'm going off a hasbro toy, it looks like a TIE/FO with the same 2 front lasers, but underneath these a turret. so it could be just the lasers are turreted, and the missiles are front where the lasers typically are.
The Force Awakens incredible cross sections book describes it as a heavy weapons turret.
My special forces tail gunner idea was to help make the TIE/sf a hard to anticipate and ruin your day by blocking and still be able to fire ship.
True, I guess my problem with it is it reminds me too much of AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRVEL Crynd and the Anti pursuit lasers. Yet adding another PWT to the game, even to the faction without them is distasteful.
I'd think Snap Wexley would have something to do with looking at maneuver dials, since he was the pilot who did the recon mission on Starkiller Base. But Intelligence Agent already does that, so it would have to be some variation on it.
Agreed about the Primary weapon turret.
Still with a ship i propose should have a system slot as well, a anti-pursuit laser/Arvel Crynd analog with either enhances scopes or advanced sensors could be nasty. Add in a coms relay and juke that 3 attack base contact shot serms pretty good.

Temmin "Snap" Wexley
While you have no damage cards, enemies can't assign target locks to your ship.
He did, after all, scout Starkilker base undetected.

he wasnt undetected... they tracked him back to the base... and prepared to fire the 'laser'
if anything Snap should read. look at target ship within range 1-2's dial, if that ship has a target lock on you they may acquire a target lock on any friendly ship withing range 2-3 of your ship.

Rebels/Resistance Only.
When your ship flies off the play area, instead of being destroyed, you may discard this card to move the ship backwards along the original manuever template until the base is just inside the play area then rotate 180 degrees. Then deal 1 facedown damage card and receive 1 stress token.
4 points.
(I want this crew card, but not sure if BB-8 is best choice)
I fully expect to see a TIE/sf as a new model. In fact it wouldn't surprise me to see a TFA pack that has a black T-70 and a TIE/sf in it.
The only problem with the black T-70 is apparently that was unique to Poe, so it would seem odd to release it with other pilots... But I guess no more odd than having Darth Vader fight a E-Wing.

Or maybe looking at the dial allows the ship to target lock him?
Mag pulse warhead, I posted this elsewhere but it is the first movie enterance.
Range 2-3 3 dice. Missile.
Resolve the attack as normal, if the attack hits add a weapons disabled token to the target and then cancel all dice results.
The Info card for it should add that for huge ships, the weapons disabled token can only be applied to one section.
Edited by DariusAPBThere's already a thread for Kylo Ren, so look there for ideas regarding him.
Captain Phasma
Crew
First Order Only
0 Squad Points
You may change one Focus result to a Hit or Evade. If you have any damage cards assigned to your ship, instead you must change one Hit or Evade result to a Focus, if able.
General Hux
Crew
First Order Only
5 Squad Points
At the beginning of the Combat Phase, you may assign yourself one Stress to choose one other friendly ship at range 1-2. It may immediately perform a free Target Lock Action and a free Focus action.
Finn could be a gunner like card, something like Luke. Maybe something allowing you to exchange a point of agility for a point of damage, so a gunner with expose built in.
Dammit Bill Weasly, going all emo after Fleur left him and joining the first order!
I think you could do dorsal cannons for large and huge ships. It seemed like they were energy weapons that tracked like ordnance, so maybe something that requires spending a target lock but is reusable?

Perfect upgrade card for any FO ship ![]()
•Tantrum (-5)
Modification: Required: Apply to any ship carrying Kylo Ren (crew)
Whenever an attack fails to inflict damage to target, roll one combat die.
Apply result to self as follows:
If (eye) disable one equipped upgrade,
if (boom) or (kaboom) apply corresponding damage card,
if "blank" add a stress token.
Edited by SentinalWe don't have enough character info to make a Snope card.
Finn
Resistance Only
6 Squad Points
After performing an attack with an equipped secondary weapon that misses, you may attack your target a second time with that secondary weapon, even if it required you to discard it to perform the attack.
