Paratrooper Shuttle

This is simple a idea to play some scenario around the idea of scorting a highly modified Punisher that is loaded with Special Forces Commandoes, not bombs.

This ship breaks normal rules, so please it into account.

The Paratrooper Shuttle has cero capacity to equip bombs or ordnance. It carry a tightly packed team of troopers ready to jump, and defensive measures.

- An ECM Pod as Sensor option

- Countermeasures card ( I know it is not legal on small ships )

- Two extra Shields ( because it is not fun to loose the ship to be scorted on round 2.

This Ship NEEDS scort, but can take a beat and.the idea to say "RED LIGHT, TWO TURNS TO JUMP", "GREEN LIGHT, ONE TURN TO JUMP. GOOD LUCK" is ok.to me

And once they jump?

It depends on SSR. Perhaps game ends when troopers paradrop, the Punisher.must exit play area, or the like. Not intended to 3 x 3 play area, six rocks. The P's work is to survive till reaching jump area

Combined with a scenario that incorporated ground elements, could be interesting.

Possibly with multiple ground objectives that can be secured. The imp player has to decide how many commando units to drop on each objective. Once all the commandos have dropped, each contested objective switches to an imperial assault skirmish game. Overall victor based on performance in those scenarios.

Great Imperial Asault game!!! But I am veeery careful not to start buying IA minis. When I started x wing my aim was to purchase 10 or so ships...
