Ok team. We got a link. The background is you are all working in the Rim and you work the same ship. Let's get a bounty....
What ship are we flying guys? Wayfarer? 1300? Stolen Lambda? Something else? (personally i like the Wayfarer for its flexibility, especially if we get a small snub fighter later on and dock it to the outside!)
Shall we be a shipping company? a bunch of smugglers? help for hire?
We dont have an affiliation with the Rebellion yet do we?
Plo is the resident negotiator and thinker onboard, but not the Charming face of the party, Nor is he a leader. He is happy out of the spotlight until the real talking (in his opinion) needs to happen. He is also a gifted mechanic and astrogator, but has no formal training.

We can do that with the YT-1300 and the Lambda with docking clamps, all freighters have them. That being said, I would prefer a HWK-290 with something simple like a light laser cannon turret or autoblaster (75,500 or 73,000 credits so it does qualify as a starting ship.)

We should get some kind of group ethos going, Enzo is at least a rebel sympathiser.
Actually help for hire has a certain flexibility to it. I'm sure all of us would be good with a side course of smuggling on whatever else is happening, but as the GM said, we have a bounty, so on some level this has to interest us.
On a back story level, what would everyone's ties to the group be (I like this stuff for RP fuel). I'd like to put forward that some of Enzos first heist stealing from the Empire was part of the investment in the ship. Very happy to have joint investment with other players (again nice bond of loyalty). So keeping the ship from being stolen/confiscated/destroyed would be a big deal, other than that was thinking of saving up to set up a rebel supporting arms factory, would that fit with some of Plo and Tor's goals?

The Wayfarer has a Quad Laser turret already (5 dam linked 3!). also good for different missions, be that big shipping, smuggling etc. and eventually it can actually have the Retro hanger bay fitted. feels a lot more Firefly to me too! The HWK is tiny too, it would fit inside the Wayfarer!
I like the Help for Hire too, sometimes its a Beast problem, other times its a heist, others its some smuggling or regular transporting. If there are credits to be made we can do it.

Im still working on a story for him, but something about a good business deal he made getting the right contacts for us to get our ship is in there somewhere. Being aware of the blight on the Neimoidian species du to the Clone Wars is important too, although he never talks about it.
In the end i would like his shame for the acts of his species to be the saving graces that guide him to joining the Alliance.

That Quad Laser cannon is front mounted AND it has a handling of -2 AND it's only speed 3 max PLUS it REQUIRES 10 people for it to run properly. I think it is better to take the smaller HWK-290 and slap a Quad Laser cannon on that. It's a better blockade runner, it's faster, it handles a LOT better (+1) and only requires 2 people for it to run smoothly. That's less people to feed and pay. I say we put it to a vote. Who wants the HWK and who wants the Wayfarer? You are free to put in your own suggestions.

I like the 720 space turtle, but can totally appreciate its not everyone's cup of tea. Like I said happy with anything that has a passenger space of 5-6+. If there's a preference in others between YT and Wayfarer I'm cool with going with the majority.

With the Right Sacrifices I turned my parties HWK-290 into a VIP transport, with two luxurious rooms and enough room for 7 more, granted the Cargo Hold suffered.

So it's possible for me to join this? I joined one on rpol. It is a lot of fun but really slow as people don't post everyday.
