Important Announcement Regarding Live Streams from FCB

By Engine25, in X-Wing

I am sorry to have to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, FCB games in Alpharetta has closed it's doors for the foreseeable future. It was a surprise to me as well as the loyal crowds that had regular X wing events, as well as Magic, RPGs, Warhammer, HeroClix, and others.

Now I get to the reason I'd announce this on the Xwing forums. This, of course, means we will not be able to continue our weekly live streams from FCB. We had a small loyal following, and I know there are a few of you out there who looked forward to our shows as much as we liked broadcasting them.

We will do our best to return to the air as soon as possible, but it will not be at FCB unless something changes. That might not mean much to you, but we have loved doing these shows and interacting with our loyal viewers and sharing our love of X wing with you.

Stay tuned for an announcement regarding the future of X wing streaming from Atlanta, Georgia. We will return.

Fly Casual, and May the Force be With You.

Wow, sorry to hear that. You guys had a pretty good xwing community down there and even hosted a Regional. Hopefully another shop can take its place.

:(

The community is stil strong, and we still have some the best gaming the southeast has to offer. Expect us to be back sooner than you realize.

The former FCB league is moving to Wasteland over in Duluth. So hopefully we can get the stream going again there on Wednesdays.

:(

Unforeseeable circumstances like 'everyone was buying online', or like 'snow caved the roof in and we can't afford the fix'?

Don't want to say the reason as it's personal/business related, but this is Georgia....we don't get snow. We get Summer and "not quite Summer" :P

Holy crap, I was just trying to figure out earlier tonight if I wanted to make the ride from near Chattanooga down to Alpharetta for your store championship... Crazy to hear, hope everyone lands on their feet down there...

Sorry to hear this.

Good luck in your new place of play.

Well crap. Never good to see a store close, especially one that always seemed so busy when we saw the store cam.Gonna miss the stream until you guys get it back up and running. It was always a good time.

The future of the live show is still in question. It will return, and I'm determined to make it happen soon. It's not as simple as just move it somewhere else unfortunately.

But I reiterate, the Store Championship IS happening on January 9th as planned and the crew will all be there. I'll actually be competing for once, so you're guaranteed at least one win! :)

This does actually make me really sad.

We're pretty bummed, too, but we'll be back!

Wait .. .what ... how ... but .... WHAT??

I finally had a chance to view the show live on the 6th and now this .... I am sad, both on behalf of the show and on FCB.
