1-2 Y as support fire. Consider title as more pew in certain lists can mean a lot.

I'm thinking of flying my Y's in a pair as a compliment to an IG88-B. The extra damage of BTL-A4 TLT's is appealing but I'm worried that I will lose the opportunity to shoot often enough with the Y's limited maneuverability.

I don't fly Y's a lot. I fly Empire a lot. Ha! But when I do I find the Y dial to be alright. I can keep most ships lined up, except for those ships that arc dodge exceptionally well. That being said I'm a big fan of the title.

For your purposes I would be tempted to not title them. That way you don't have to worry and IG can do the heavy lifting while the Y's add some substance. Plus you can fly your Y's a little off the cuff and keep your opponent guessing where your 3 ships will be while retaining your fire power turn after turn.

Again I'm no Y expert but that's what I think.

I have run the IG with a pair of TLT Y's and I prefer to keep the title off. Since you aren't using a stressbot, the title isn't as important and it keeps your dial open for better coverage.
