This is a deck I've been playing last week, and I'm really surprised of its power.

3x Galadriel's Handmaiden

1x Lindir

3x Northern Tracker

2x Elrond

2x Galdor of the Havens

1x Gildor Inglorion

1x Henamarth Riversong

3x Rivendell Minstrel

2x Warden of Healing

2x Gandalf (Hobbit)

Attachments

2x Light of Valinor

3x Unexpected Courage

1x A Burning Brand

2x Protector of Lórien

2x Nenya

Events

3x Dwarven Tomb

3x Elrond's Counsel

3x Elven Light

3x Daeron's Runes

3x Tale of Tinúviel

2x A Test of Will

2x Lords of the Eldar

Amongst Elven lights, Galadriel, Daeron's runes and Galdor, this deck can draw a lot. Once Gandalf and a Light of Valinor hit the table, you can generate a lot of willpower without even exhausting a single character, which leaves you all ready from combat. Aragorn is there to handle all combat. With a burning brand you don't have to worry about nasty shadow effects, and for the biggest enemies you have tales of Tinúviel (which are song, so you can fetch them with Rivendell Minstrels).

By now I've played 3 games with this deck... 2 wins over 2 attemps in Journey along the Anduin (nightmare), and 1 win over 1 attempt on The Wastes of Eriador (it also was the easiest game I've ever played against this quest).

Tales of Tinúviel are simply amazing. One turn I was engaged to 2 trolls... Aragorn bowed to defend one. Got boosted (and untapped !!) by Galadriel (+4 to all stats), then defended the other, and got another boost from Arwen (+3 to all stats and untapped again)... now it's time to return that love to the trolls... attack one with attack 10 (+4 from Gandalf), untap Aragorn again (unexpected courage), and attack other troll by 10... with Dwarven tombs in hand ready to get my tales again...

It's a very fun to play deck, and I really think it can be a tier one, or at least, get very close to be.

I like it a lot and I'll try it asap, sure.

Gandalf seems to be important in this deck, what do you think to insert 3 copies instead of 2?

I've not played enough games to discover all weaknesess of the deck, but probably you're right, Gandalf is an important piece, and if you don't draw it... things will be harder. You can try it, I prefered to add a single Gildor Inglorion as if it was the 3rd Gandalf. That allows me to play it if already have Gandalf in play.

Anyway, without drawing him I think the deck is strong enough to defeat most of the "non-specialized" scenarios. They are some other great allies, like trackers and Galdor (and no doubts of the real star of the deck, which are the tales of Tinúviel).

This was the exact deck I was planning to build once I got my hands on Arwen <_< . Nice one wehehe.

This is basically the deck my wife is taking through Angmar Awakened with me right now. Mine is a multiplayer variation on Denison's Army of Ents deck .

I like the idea of using Hobbit Gandalf, I'll have to suggest that to her. Have you been able to get Galdor or Gildor out regularly? She put in 3x Elf-Stone to try to make it easier to get them out, but she still isn't satisfied with how often they sit in her hand until the last turn.

@Seastan: I think that the deck builds almost by itself... Once I saw Arwen and Tale of Tinúviel I thought in building a deck with Aragorn.. and looking at the card pool I think that Galadriel is by far the hero that best fits in the deck. And also is the grandmother of Arwen !!

@Authraw: Gildor not so many times, but Galdor has hit table on each game I've played with the deck. There's just one step between cost 4 and 5, but it goes from being just 1 round saving resources, to 2, what makes GIldor a little hard to play (unless you already have Nenya in play, then you only need to save resources one round). Also, the ability of Galdor is amazing with Arwen, while GIldor is there just for the stats. I was thinking in elf-stone too, but I don't like to play it if I don't play a lot of location control.

This Gandalf is just to great to ignore it. Also, with Galadriel its drawback is mitigated, and with Elrond's counsels + Dwarven tombs you can keep your threat without many troubles.
