One of the reasons Imperial Assault is a great miniatures game is because, in addition to OT characters and lore, FFG creates unique and different characters seen only in the game. (Every hero. General Weiss and Sorin, Kayn Somos.) So create your own in this thread, preferably using the following template.

Name: Zed Bennan

Title: Reckless Gambler

Physical Description: A Red Devaronian with exceptionally polished horns and exceptional dressing taste, wearing only the finest of fibres in the most fashionable of colours. (Wears purples and orange coats)

Character Background/ Character Side Mission:
Zed has made a name for himself by playing people at the local speeder races. He did so one day with an Imperial Officer on leave, thinking the man was just another sucker. Zed told him to bet on the Golden Hawk, saying the Hawk couldn't lose, while Zed later put all his money on The Womp Rat. As fate would have it that day, the Officer saw Zed receiving his winnings after the Officer had just lost it all, the Officer realized he had been tricked and took revenge, by putting an arrest order on Zed for Rebellion. Zed fled capture from a squad of Stormtroopers just by the hair of his neck, and by hiding in a back booth of the Cantina. This is where he met a Rebel recruiter. The Recruiter heard Zed had sympathy for the Rebellion and had acted in their name, and offered him a place in the larger organization. Zed saw this as a way to save his hide, and said yes.
That past has caught up with Zed, for when he was doing Recon on an imperial planet for the Rebellion, he was recognized by the Officer. Zed must now flee the planet while being chased by imperials and bounty hunters looking to make a profit from him.

Reward:
Easy Money.
You receive twice the amount of credits you would normally at the end of a mission.

Ability 1:
Double or Nothing: If your attack misses, you may reroll all available dice. If it now hits, you gain a focus. If it's still a miss, gain 2 strain.

Ability 2:
Bet Against: 1 Strain: Use while preforming an attack. Roll 1 white dice, the results present on the dice rolled are applied as negatives on the enemy's roll.

Roll 1 blue dice and guess the accuracy amount. If you are correct, your dice pool gains 1 red dice. Then, Exhaust this card.

Load the Dice:
You may choose 1 dice rolled by you or a friendly figure within 3 spaces and change it to any result. Usable once per-mission.

Just a sleezy glamber that isn't afraid to play dirty to win. I think I'd also add XP cards for some dirty trick moves like throwing sand in eyes or a dirty trick kick to when an enemy activates next to him.

Name: Adela Crestrider

Title: Teräs Käsi Artist

Physical Description: A middle aged Cathar female in monk like robes. (Humanoid cat species)

Character Background/ Character Side Mission: Before joining the Rebellion, Adela and her mate were attacked and kidnapped by slavers on their homeworld of Cathar, due to Cathar females being popular slaves. However Adela managed to escape during a raid the Rebel Alliance conducted upon the slavers. Unfortunately her mate was unable to escape when the slavers retreated. Adela's side mission has her trying to free her mate from the slavers' new hideout. (A mission featuring mostly merc units.)

Weapon Master: Your attack pool consists of any combination of attack dice equal to your weapon's amount.

Pacifist: You cannot use Ranged weapons.

Inner Strength: 1 strain: Add +1 damage to your attack results. You may use this ability multiple times.

Health: 12
