Gozanti and TIE Bombers

How are they supposed to attach?

You need an extension. I'm hoping for a third party and/or 3D printable spacer, but you can also do it by putting small ship pegs in between the clamps and the ships.

Don't bother? Just keep them off the table.

Repulsorlifts - you can get thrm at Tosche station - next aisle along from the power converters

Chewing gum.

What about TIE Shuttles? Do they fit? DO THEY FIT?!?! I must know!

No, but a single Lambda does if you remove the docking clamps and use a big ball of blutac...

I received my Gozantis today and will be modding the docking clamps and all ships that attach with magnets so they sit properly, ie Right Side Up!

This video has some explanations.

OK, so I wasn't being thick and missing how they were supposed to connect. It's odd, you'd think they'd have put a little cutout in the clamp to allow all dockable ships to actually dock (or included two sets of clamps).

If it becomes a TIE Shuttle by getting rid of it's bomb bay, doesn't that mean it's not strictly speaking a TIE Bomber anymore, and therefore isn't allowed to dock anyway? :P (That's a joke, obviously it doesn't).

Looking at that, The fighters slot straight in, without twisting. Given that, it should be easy to simply carve a section out of the clamp to accommodate the warhead launcher on the bomber. It depends how hard/brittle the plastic is; I've not tried converting any of the miniatures yet.

Oh shoot, that reminds me. I've got some converters on layaway and I really need to pick them up! Maybe I can find some time to head out there after the harvest.

My solution to this obvious oversight...

The fix is a small peg...bam perfect fit.

And you can picture them swinging gently under the Gozanti as it turns, maybe striking each other: clong, clong....

That Goz has dangley bombs...

Magnetize! Because ships aren't suppose to dock upside down!

Its operations like this that make me wish we had vibroblade craft knives.

Received my Gozanti today in the mail for Cool Stuff inc.

Great model. But getting the ships on and off is not as easy as I thought.
