Anyone have any thoughts on the following list?

Could it compete?

What does the General's Ranks do? I'd guess you're better off with an officer.

True, replacing General's Ranks with an officer would probably make more sense as you won't necessarily always be meeting the triggering requirements for it.

I think you'll have a tough time competing with so few figures and almost all of them prone to a fairly quick death. You're also looking at a relative paucity of speed and movement excepting IG-88. (EDIT: Having the officer will help for some movement here and there.)

I'm not sure what I think about Sorin yet. It's hard to make his abilities worth his points although Optimal Bombardment is tempting, it's going to be nearly impossible to set that up against a good opponent.

I think he may work better in a list with 2 tanks. I tried that last night and it was decent.

In regards to Sorin, I really think that he should take advantage of big units like the Tank or E-Web (Weiss and Sorin is tempting, but it would give very few activations)

You need to mix Sorin with other Officers...that way you can set up some insane amount of damage coming from either the Elite E web or the tank.

Tank is good, but the recover from the E-Web makes it really strong and make the unit much more durable.

The idea is to set up in the first 2 turns an attack that kill a key caracter and with this list bellow, it is totally feasible. With Sorin parked behind the tank and an Elite Officer behind. The E-Web, you have a pretty solid set up for multiple attacks.

Lots of movements and attacks, was able to pull 4 attacks with the tank the other day in one turn. 3 Dice, 4 Dice, 4 Dice, 4 Dice = Focused Fire, Sorin + Elite Officer (you use Sorin surges for focusing) In regards to his survivability it's a non issue, the main targets are the tank and the eweb... Nobody shoots at Sorin before the game is won or lost.

I use New order also, that can ready a card with a leader, readying an E-Web or the Tank with an Officer. Also using the new field tactician that comes with Sorin. Really good, gives you and old officer for one turn!

The E-Webs don't work well with Sorin. They are neither vehicles nor droids.

What's Targeting Computer?

They do work well what are you talking about? Sorin can stil use his bombardment ability on it and the Optimal bombardment works with him too! Elite E-Web is brilliant in this list.

Targeting cpu, is a skirmish upgrade that you can put on a vehicle or heavy weapon to grant a reroll. No 1* red die for the E-Web or Tank anymore... Makes them much more consistent in terms of damage output!

Sorin can share his surge with the tank and the 2 probes, which is more than enough. Assault is a better ability than focused fire, and the survivability of the E-Web is much better, I would personally not see 2 tanks in a list...

In regards to the first list in the first post,it seems to be a fun list, but I would be concerned about damage output. Lots of blue and yellow... Save for IG and IG is stil only 2 dice...
