is was playing with bossk and i have a question . i outfitted him with mangler cannon , calculation and mercenary co pilot . i attacked on range 3 , i threw 1 crit 1 hit and 1 focus . the 1 hit turned in to a crit due to mangler cannon . i used focus for the focus dice , thanks to calculation it turned in to a crit . i used bossk ablility to cancel 1 crit for 2 hits , but my question here is , from those 2 hit . does 1 turn in to a crit thanks to mercenary co pilot or does it not apply

Bossk's ability only happens when damage goes through so it would be something like

roll

mangler

calculation/merc copilot

if hit

bossk

Bossk's ability triggers after the Compare Results step of combat, long past the time to modify the dice (which happens during the Modify Attack Dice step). So no, you cannot apply Manger/MercCo after Bossk triggers.

BUT, if you swap out the Merc Rodian for our Favorite Rodian, Greedo, the first card dealt is dealt face up. So, one up, one down, two up, four total. Assuming you roll the 3 crits lIke in your original example.

Anyway, Greedo would give your opponent a nice Crit
