2A & 2B List

Looking to try this tomorrow at the FLGS, not planning on playing this in tournaments, so it doesn't need to be super competitive, but I'd like some help filling the rest of the list out.

That's 92 points as is. I'm thinking about maybe adding autothrusters to the As, and still have a couple points left, or drop the As to Prototype Pilots and give them Prockets instead of the refit. Any advice?

I like the idea of adding Autothrusters to the A-wings, but if you drop them to Prototype Pilots, doesn't that mean they can't equip A-wing Test Pilot? So you'd have to drop Crack Shot. If you changed Accuracy Corrector toFire Control System, you could add 2 Proton Rockets to the A-wings without changing anything else.

Not sold on crack shot for the A's. Think you will get more out of them with outmaneuver or something like that. They will likely get some flanks since the B's will be targeted first. And I'd rather see FCS or advanced sensors on the B's instead of AC. AC limits them to only 2 damage when a focused, TL B can hit 2 to 3 pretty much every time, or more at range 1.

Add autothrusters, drop to fcs, maybe add flechette cannon to the b's?

Thanks for the suggestions, I agree FCS or Advanced Sensors do seem to be a better fit on the B's. I should be able to get at least 2 games in tomorrow, so I came up with these two variations that I think I'll try. I left Crack Shot on the one list since I like the rest of the setup and don't see anything else I could evenly swap in for it.

Played one game last night and lost, flew my version 1 list from above. My opponent was flying a Mixed Tie Swarm with Omega Leader, Epsilon Ace, Zeta Leader, Backstabber, and Scourge. My list did alright, I got rid of Backstabber early and did a lot of damage (but not enough) to his other ships. FCS on the Bs helped, but the As were never able to get into range for Prockets.

Next time I think I'll leave the Bs as-is, but take Prockets off the As and add Chaardan Refit, Autothrusters, and Outmaneuver.

I'm not a big fan of 2 A + 2 B. Because their dials are so different, they can't always support each other. However, Green squad with push the limit, test pilot, outmanoeuvre, chardaan and autothrusters is a pretty decent use of 25 points. I like to run one with outmanoeuvre and a second one with predator. The outmanoeuvre goes it alone on a flank and the predator one stays closer to the rest of your ships.

As long as you're considering dropping to proto pilots, why not take it all the way? With chardaan refits and nothing else you can get three proto pilots for 45 points.

What for? You don't need 3 and their attack power is measly. 1 is great as a blocker, two maybe, but 3 seems a waste of points...

What about putting Juke on the A's? With PTL, you can focus + evade and influence their defensive roll every time, whereas Outmaneuver triggers sometimes. Juke also costs 1 point less than Outmaneuver.

Yes, this might be a decent option, especially if the opponent decides to shoot at the b-wings.
