Hello, so I just received this game as a gift and have not played it yet but I read through the rules twice. I have one pretty simple question about reinforcements. When the rule says place one monster from whatever group, "respecting group limits", which must I place when the master and minion version are both defeated? For example say I have a group of goblin archers in the quest. During the heroes turns they defeat the master and one minion. Now when my turn starts as overlord do I just pick either one to reinforce with or am I required to put all minions out before I can place the master again?

You are free to choose master or minion, assuming that there are no further quest rules allowing and/or denying a particular type.

Obviously, more often than not, all things being equal, people choose the master if it is permitted.
