By bcons, in X-Wing

Missile Refit

Tie Bomber Only. Modification.

Your upgrade bar gains 4 missile icons.

Your upgrade bar loses all bomb and torpedoe icons.

(cost=?)

Rotational Lasers

A-Wing Only. Modification.

You may perform primary weapon attacks against ships that would be in your auxilary firing arc.

(cost=?)

I wanted to make something that allowed the A-Wing to fire backwards, as it did have guns on a turret, though they malfunctioned often.

Stupid Pilot

Decrease your pilot skill value by 2.

Wen defending, you must change all your eye results to blank results.

(cost=?

Made a pair of new ones addressing perhaps the most pressing issue in all of X-Wing: for being the main character of Star Wars , Luke Skywalker really isn't all that great. This hopefully reflects the amount of progress he's made by the time we see him again in Episode VII, and gives the Resistance an Ace besides Poe Dameron.

And a new EPT that could be fun.

I think the one suggestion I'd make is to reword it to say "another friendly ship at range 1" so that the escort can't be escorting itself (and possibly reduce the number of dice rerolled to 1). I can see that being still worth 0 squad points, and I also imagine it would thematically still fit rebels best because a) they care more about other individual ships in the fight and b) many of their abilities and strengths play towards formation flying anyway. But I'd keep the range as is, because it still leaves room for your more maneuverable or faster ships to do what they need to do. Though honestly, I can see this being a good one for both the T-65 and E-Wing now that I think about it, since both can use the help. And of course, nothing's stopping you from having multiple ships take the EPT. I think I actually really like the idea of 3 X-Wings in the fight, all covering each other and keeping each other alive. Feels right, doesn't it?

EDIT: Yes I know I said "the one suggestion" and then went on to make three, but I couldn't help it. The more I typed, the more ideas I got.

Thanks for the feedback; I'll make sure to clarify the language on that card when I revisit it. While I do think you're right that it could work for multiple ships, I made it exclusive to the E-Wing because the SW Legends canon says it was made specifically to be an escort, and this would give it that something-special that it doesn't really have among the other fighters right now.

and this would give it that something-special

Heh, right, gotcha. Yeah, I know the feeling bud. When I designed Energy Distribution Suite I was basically making a way that a Defender could take Autothrusters. Of course, having played with an x7 I see there is now no longer a reason to do that! Yikes, what a beast that would be!

Here's something else for the e-wing;

E-Wing Overhaul

E-Wing Only. Title.

Your upgrade bar gains 2 sensor or tech icons.

Your upgrade bar loses the torpedo icon.

Your action bar gains the boost icon, or, your upgrade bar gains 1 cannon icon.

(cost=?)

I haven't played it yet, I just got the E-Wing today and have only played 1 game so-far.

Any suggestions?

I want to make something that allows a ship to "angle the deflector shields", so to speak.

Angle the Deflector Shields

Action: Remove 1 shield token from your ship card.

Place 2 shield tokens on any quarter of your ship base.

When defending, if the attacker is in a quarter that you have shields on, you may spend those shield tokens as evade tokens.

At the end of the round, discard all shield tokens from your ship. For every side that a shield token was removed from, recover 1 shield.

(skill? mod?) (cost=?)

Good sir you would not be the first.

The new Logo corresponds to the Force Token. It can be used to pay for special abilities as noted on pilot cards or as either Focus or Evade.

I think Eta-2 should have a cannon slot (ion cannons on the outer edge of the wing) or at least 3 attack die.

it does have 4 agility... I think it's good.

Definatly needs a cannon slot.

4 evade is good though.

I think Saesee Tiin and Mace Windu should have their PS swapped. Wasn't Saesee supposed to be the top fighter pilot of the Jedi Order prior to Anakin?

*Lobot

Rebel Only.

Your upgrade bar gains 1 {sensor} icon.

You may use all friendly ships {sensor} upgrades' ability as your own (as well as theirs).

At the start of the combat phase, you may choose 2 friendly ships with equipped {sensor} upgrades. Switch those upgrades.

(crew) ( cost=? )

This was a cloud car set, but not actually space worthy, nevermind.

Following some discussion about the VCX-100 & Attack Shuttle in this thread:

https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/224517-ghost-titlewhat-exactly-is-going-on-there/

I decided to have a go at a generic solution:

All_1.jpg

What do people think - does the shuttle title have to cost a little more for allowing the extra VCX turret attack?...obviously can't be too many more points as the ship isn't as good as the Phantom

(Note that this is costed so you can't play twin Lothal Rebels, one with Zeb & other with generic shuttles - but you can play twin Lothal+generic ;) )

Here's another set I did a while ago to match my Scum VCX conversion:

Both.jpg

I figured a cost of 12 seemed perhaps ok for granting the same functionality as the docked shuttle without the actual ship...also seemed to tie-in with Zeb_Shuttle (18) - Hounds Tooth (6) = 12, coincidentally same as Punishing One granting a 3-dice Turret.

And for giggles, some of the other pilots from Rebel Assault to fly alongside Jake Farrell:

Neat idea, but much to expensive! Now it only counters palp (sort of). Boba is only 1 pt for pretty much the same effect. Maybe the boarding party keeps doing stuff after they kill the crew member? Like sabotage the ship or something..

Maybe two sided?

Side A : when you overlaps an enemy ship you may remove one crew upgrade on that ship. Then apply this upgrade card to the ship and turn it to the other side.

Side B :?

Soontir Fel Cost: 1

Crew: Rebel and Imperial only

At any point during a round, you may remove stress tokens from your ship until you have one remaining.

And discard?

My thought would be that if you do a successful bording action against a large ship that has no crew cards to remove, you remove the pilot card instead and thus remove the ship from play.

Abysmally high point cost. Generally, non-ordinance one-offs are very low. 1-2 points.

Stellar art though.

It should read: After you perform a manuver you may choose and discard a crew card from an enemy ship you are touching.

At five points this card though is only profitable against the Emperor, or multiple crews which requires multiple rams. Maybe four points, or make it single use at 2?

Yes, but Mace was also an Adept pilot. At any rate, at least one of them should be an 8 (Saesee would be more thematic.)

Was rewatching Force Awakens. Suddenly got this idea. Finn seems to end up as the gunner a lot, and the person flying is usually pulling some crazy maneuvers, stunts, or just juking like crazy to stay alive. But he seems to perform admirably under those circumstances, even without a lot of training and practice! The boy's a natural gunner, I say! But he's inexperienced, and Rebels cost a lot anyway, so 1 point to keep him nice and useful (especially on ships with multiple crew slots).

You'll also notice he is not limited to once per round... 0t0hLWK.png
