So as usual, Texas has a ton of tournaments this year. Let's try to collect the dates and times of each event. I will update this list when I find details.

Wild West Arlington is saying 2/7/16 at 1pm. $15 entry fee.

I was about to post my own thread to seek players in Fort Worth but, I figured I would do a combo reply here.

I would like to warn everyone that the Area 51 gaming store is mostly dead. I have tried for the last month or two to find players to practice against (to get me Tournament ready). Every time I have gone to Game Night, I have not found one X Wing TMG player. They are all players for Armada. If they are somehow able to hold a Tournament, I would be surprised.

I think this has something to do with them closing down Clock Work Gaming. It was their second store that was about 20 minutes away.

With that said, I will still go to that store (seeing as it is way closer than any of the other stores) IF anyone is looking to get Tournament ready by practicing. I am available Saturday and Sunday. My preferred times are 5 to 9 PM on Saturday, and 1 to 5 PM Sunday. If these hours don't work I am willing to see what I can do. Let me know please. Good luck to anyone participating in the Tournaments!

Edit: I just returned from an X Wing TMG store called Generation X (comics and games) in Bedford. I use to buy expansions from them a few years ago. I just realized they are still in business and booming. The register person said that they planned for their Store Tournament to be in March sometime. Until then they will have Game Nights on Thursday from 7pm to close.

I do not mind making a trip to Generation X instead of Area 51 if that is easier for whoever I practice with.

There is another Comics and Game store called Madness X or something like that. It's about 5 to 10 minutes down the road from Generation X. I am thinking it's new as I have never seen it. When I am out running errands another time, I will see if they sell X Wing TMG expansions.

Edit: Tappiocca has both posted, and sent me a personal message asking me to edit what I said about Area-51. Until I see players at Area-51 I will think that. In light of this new information, I will go to Area-51 seeing as it's not too far from me. I will see for myself, despite having a cold at this time.

Area 51 in Grapevine has a consistent 12ish people show up to their monthly X-Wing tournament. It's a fun store, at least that one Saturday a month.

This is a bad message and needs edited! Area 51 has been running Monthly Tournaments for near 7 months now, with positive output and great reception. We regularly get between 12-20 players for our monthly tournaments and have recently started a Tuesday Night League (that is taking part in a Metro-Wide League Event).
