Epsilon leader states "At the start of the Combat phase, remove 1 stress token from each friendly ship at Range 1." Does it remove a stress from itself too? Thanks for the help.

A ship can be at Range 1 of itself, so yes, Epsilon Leader can remove a stress token from himself. It would only exclude him if it was worded "... from each other friendly ship at Range 1"
Yes, you can be range 1 of yourself, and a ship is friendly to itself. This means that Epsilon Leader, Jan Ors Crew, Fleet Officer, and the upcoming Kanan Jarrus card can also work on themselves/the ship they're on.
It's quite unfortunate that it functions this way, as Kanan Jarrus on a Super Dash is going to ruin the game when it's released but there you go. None of the other cards that are worded this way break the game though.
