I have in program to buy 8 in the next month) the starter set , 1 Nebulon , 1 Victory SD , 1 FMkII and 1 gladiator SD .

Is a good start ?

Yes but you will want fighter packs also

Yes a great start to get one of each but as above definitely get a fighter pack of each faction

The emperor is pleased with your progress, he would be even more pleased when you acquire an Imperial-Class Star Destroyer. He has foreseen it.

I just started too. So far, I've picked up 1 each of the Fighter Squadron packs, 2 Raiders, and an AFMkII. The highest priority is definitely the squadrons. The flexibility they give is amazing. Once I started trying out the combos with the elite Empire pilots it really changed the way I saw the game. The AFMkII is really cool as well. The Gallant Haven title is sweet if you like squadrons. Not sure if I'll get another Nebulon B. Mine has a habit of getting one-shot in the 1-shield flanks and exploding. My next purchase is going to be the Gladiator, have to wait a couple of days for the LGS to get new supplies in.

For now , i need limiting myself to the starter + wawe 1 , because i need to wait for the traslated version of the expansions (I 'm italian , and in italy is hard to convince people to play with material in non-italian language ).
