I think you are being overly pedantic. Owen and Beru are a part of Luke's extended family, and at least one of them is related to him by blood. Besides, I never said anything about genetics. You assumed that. I was talking about on-screen representation of eye color.
Neither Owen or Bareru were ralted by blood. Where do you get that?
Owen Married Shmi Skywalker, Anikins Mother, at the time the only one related to Anikin by blood. So Owen was Lukes stepfather. even though he called hum "Uncle Owen" because that is what he was raised to believe.
Beru Married Owen some time after Shmii died. So again... at most she was a step mother... he called her Aunt because that was what he was told. Neither were related to Anikin or Luke by blood.
The only ones from the, first two series, that can claim relation by blood would be Shmii, Luke, and Liea.

RIght got Owen confused with lars.. so Owen is his step brother in law.
I think maybe this has more to do with the real-life casting of Caucasian voice/actors/artists than it does with lore.
