So I've run this in a few casual games, and I think it has the stuff to be competitive. I'm taking it to a tourney tomorrow.

Though the A-Wings aren't heavy hitters, the Prockets help make up for that with some nice Alpha-strike action before the arc dodging starts. Except for Jake Farell, this list isn't ltoo worried about stress issues. The A-Wing can usually stay within range 1 of TLT threats, and Keyan Farlander's barrel roll can help get him there sometimes. I think the biggest threat would be a Sootnir list, as he is the superior ace with higher skill and attacks. Any thoughts on how to fly against a list like that would be nice.

What are your general thoughts?

With all the stress heavy lists I've faced lately, I've been building lists with Tycho too and plan to run him with something. I think this is a cool list but I would probably run VI on Jake instead of wired since he is going to be your best arc dodger.

Also something to think about is opportunist on Keyan. He will shoot last and this can give him 4 red dice consistently (and sometimes 5). Might make up for the lack of firepower on the A's, though it is likely that Keyan will get focused first. In that case you could pull the prockets off one A, and maybe give Keyan some defensive capabilities. I like c3p0 or chewie to keep him around maybe another turn or two. There's also sensor jammer as an option but people typically focus and you're not gonna get many blocks with aces. Cool stuff though, should be fun to fly. I love A-wings.

Have you considered swapping wired for v.i. on Jake and Tycho. I've flown v.i. Jake and Tycho + something else for the past couple of months and have had some success. What I've found is this list does great against other 3 ship list, and struggles against list that have 4 or more ships. My go to list is:

Puts you at 99 points so you have a small iniative bid. I generally offer the T-70 as bait and flank with the A's. I haven't tried the list with wired and would be interested to hear how it works out for you. Good luck in your tournament

Its a tough call about Veteran Instinct over Wired. I would really love to be at pilot skill 9 and 10 to fight aces, but Wired is a better choice against TLT spam and swarms. I think for tomorrow I'm going to run Wired, and if falls flat, I'll bounce up to VI to try and deal with Sootnir and those other terrors.
