I wanted to play as Luke Skywalker during the campaigns or as Han or Chewie, but I dont have any Hero cards for them are they not ment to play campaign with? They are for skirmish only? Is there a list somewhere that list what expansions come with hero cards for campaigns?
Luke Skywalker Hero?
Look at your box, it NEVER says you can play AS them , only WITH them.
There won't be the possibility to play as a known character but they can appear as allies in your campaign.
The preview article corresponding to the box tells you which heros are in the box.
The main characters from the movies are not meant to be played as heroes in the campaign. However, you can earn them as allies that you can bring along to fight with you if you successfully complete the appropriate side missions.
There are currently 11 heroes you can choose to play as. There are the 6 from the core set, 2 in the Twin Shadows boxed set, and 3 in the newly released Return to Hoth campaign.
I am curious to know if somebody try to run campaign with the ally as the heros, like using Luke, Leia, Han and chewie instead of the traditionnal heros in the box.
ok, so the heroes come in the main box sets. All the small expansions are for skirmish or sort of support character in campaign if they are apart of the mission. I think I got it.
You could just make custom cards and replace The Wookie, Jedi and Smuggler with pics of Chewie, Luke and Han... as they have similar abilities

Truth is diala and luke are indeed similar, Han and Jyn too(with my bro we have the joke that Jyn is a better han than han in skirmish games), garkhaan and chewie though are very different
I feel like Fenn would represent Chewbacca better, since we rarely see Chewie engaged in melee.

Jyn is MUCH better than Han in Skirmish games. Han is horrendously overpriced.

The most important thing is that Jyn CAN SHOOT FIRST
A member came up with a Hero sheet/class deck for Luke back in January.

Hah that's great as soon as one of my friends saw Jyn, he called her Hannah Solo.
If you've got Twin Shadows, using Biv's hero card for Chewie might be a better fit than Fenn.
