List is pretty straight forward. Try to win the initiative bid for objectives.Use Vader to reroll as much dice as I can throw. Use my objectives to my benefit. For most wanted I'll throw it on my raider and just fly around. For hyperspace assault I'll use insidious and my last one I'll use my raider or glads to pick up the objectives as fast as I can. I feel like lacking in the squadron department and that's what I'm asking help for. What ideas does everyone have to help in that area? Thanks.

Personally, Id drop the raider. Naked and alone it will probably get popped quick. Id invest those points on Ig-88 at least one advanced and howlrunner if you can find space. You get swarm, everyone gets counter 1, Ig gets to ignore counter from other fighters and your advanced can take flack. It might not win the squadron game but it will certainly stake in bombers in their spot.

I think if I were to drop the raider I would run. Dengar, Mualer mithel, soontir feel and a tie advanced. This what I normally run for anti bombers and it works amazing. I normally would run Vader in his advanced but since he's my admiral a stock one will do. I would also change to advanced gunnery from most wanted. The ISD would change too.

Drop the raider for more squadrons. Purples' ideas are fine, though there are other options.

Put X-17's on the ISD. I'm not sure that RR is worth 8 pts. I'd consider APT or ACM's instead

Drop the raider and ties. That leaves 76 points for a fighter screen. I would take:

admiral chiraneau (10pts)

Mauler mithel (15pts)

Howlrunner (16pts)

Interceptors x2 (22pts)

Advanced (12pts)

Mauler plus chiraneau is just broken. Howl plus interceptors is nasty. The advanced has escort.

Yah. My squadron plan wasn't a set in stone list, just what I like right now. Basically drop the raider for an anti-squad build.

Rapid Reload doesn't get you much on those Gladiators. One extra black die can easily be braced away. Assault Proton Torpedoes and Assault Concussion Missiles are both cheaper and add more damage output. Heck, Expanded Launchers adds TWO black dice to your front arc for a nasty double.

Also, I'd drop Avenger and consider replacing with Relentless. You don't have an easy way to force Defense Token usage.

Finally, one excellent upgrade to your Raider 1 would be Ordinance Experts. Rerolling all your anti-squadron dice at will makes it a much more dangerous ship and more reliable against enemy light ships, too.

I noticed that you have vader at 38pts,i believe he is 36.

I think acm or apt is well worth it, with Vader and ord experts you can reroll even huts to fish for the crit and have a great chance of getting one
