No one is saying that FFG should not be allowed to make money.

but to waste resources that could used to make Career books on useless cards just to get more money is a bit much.

You do realize a talent deck only require some e to spend some time copYing the text into template they already have. Probably took someone an afternoon. Someone who is not a writer. So not it did not take away career book resources. It likely made layout staff useful in between books.

Just wanted to point out we have clone wars era stuff. We have b1 battle droids, commando droids, droidenkars, several starfighters etc. You can do a clone wars game easy. Hell with very little effort you can do any era now. Just reskin. Not like the eras really change much if you think about it.

Ok, so now that Episode 7 is out, and we are looking fwd to 2 more installments of this franchise, here is my question:

Will we see an RPG that is time-set in the Sequels Ep 7, 8, 9??? Will we see the new vehicles and now have Luke w/ his current stats, Rey and hers etc???

Would FFG do this?? I think it would make money, and I do believe the Mouse is into that sort of thing?!

We already have the tools to run in the sequel era. The beauty of Star Wars is its fairly stagnant tech-development wise.

Yes, we will probably eventually see some of vehicles from the sequel films. Though honestly, the only "new" things we see, is a slightly different model of X-Wing and TIE Fighter and a slightly different super-structure on a Star Destroyer.

No, we will not see stats for the film characters.

They have enough info to make a series of adventures set in the TFA time period. That adventure could easily include stats for all the stuff we've seen so far.

I was going to say FFG has trickled out TCW gear in the books and continues to which to me is another sign we probably aren't seeing an era book. Other than gear what precisely would there be? Clone Trooper/Storm Trooper? tomato/tomatoe. Fluff? There is a ton established already, and if you look at the sourcebooks they have done, it's generally speaking to elements of the Star Wars universe that haven't really been covered.
