I probably won't, but I can't wait to see the mods and repaints...
I can feel the paint drying as I type.
(feel free to post em here)

Quite a few already have, on a certain FB group.
If I had one it wouldn't take long to repaint it. I'm an expert after all! ![]()
I might be repainting one soon. My Arch-Nemesis who buys all the stuff I want before I do has a Gozanti.

I would call that bragging, but hey, it's easily justified ![]()
I actually like the paintjob on the Gozanti much more than the Raider. Looks like they've come a long way since then.
I may add some imperial symbols to mine.. Just for giggles..
Ok.. I am definitely going to.. Just a matter of .. When.. Lol

You mean 3rd quarter 2014 when they actually painted the Raider?
It looks good, has a bit of a darker wash, at least my example does sitting next to my Raider.
I can see one painted to show fading and peeling paint as well as some corrosion as seen on Red Dwarf.
I can't yet imagine how I would paint one. Probably keep it stock, apart from touching up the engines, the usual. Hard to decide with imperial ships.

There's a neat video on youtube called painting burnt iron. I think it would provide an interesting paint effect on the outside of the engines.
I got mine today, and I feel like it's easily the best stock paint job by far*. The paneling is great! At most, I think I'll make the bridge windows bright yellow/white, with some bright windows and running lights along the sides for contrast. I could see some minor red or black markings, possibly some Aurabesh being thrown in as well.
Painting the engine glow goes without saying, of course. ![]()
*edit: for a Huge model.

Not until I get Lister and Rimmer as crew members

and an airbrush that plugs into your groinal attachment socket
E.g. this:
And I would, if I would be owning one, be quite tempted to give it a S&V workover ![]()
