No, I've seen the book. The book simply says that all T-70s have a modular weapons bay that can be swapped to carry torpedoes or extra cannons.

In the early part of the film, Poe has a blue/white T-70 with what appears to be a remote turreted blaster (or laser).

The phrase used was "customised" (TFA Incredible Cross Sections) but we don't know to what degree- might be something very minor.

We will more than likely see the new paint job and any new upgrades once they feel the ship needs a fix or to give it more options in an aces/veterans pack.

To be honest, putting a 'pop-down' turret in a tech slot might be interesting.

It might be a way to do the special forces TIE if you wanted to make it a title rather than a whole 'nother ship.

Given the t-65 could also do this it's possible they include these upgrades in a t-65 based product

I wish people would stop calling Poe's Black One x-wing a t-85, its all over the forums and it's wrong.

Oh and the drop down belly gun (possibly a surface defeanse cannon) is probably not a standard Loadout for the T-70. Illicit, maybe, the Resistence might be chummy with a lot of scummy.

I think it would be a title for the t-70, the visual dictionary mentions in multiple places that Poe's xwing is called Black One. If we get cool add on slots I think it will be through this

Black one should be a title but slot swapping feels like it should be a normal upgrade card that is limited to x wings so both t-70 and t-60 benefit.

Was not aware the T-60 was an x-wing.
