Tractor beam should have introduce the "freeze a ship for a round" mechanic into X-wing instead of dropping a ship's agility by one per token. I will make a prediction that the agility drop thing will be heavily nerf'd by the end of the 2016.

Very little love for early EU ships in X-Wing.

I have fond memories of the TIE Avenger, Preybird, Skipray, and the Scimitar Bomber (and the Thrawn Trilogy in general). I agree the designs of the Skipray and Scimitar are a bit cluncky and archaic, espcially the Scimitar. They could be redesigned for the modern times. I will happily take the TIE Punisher over the Scimitar though... it looks like a more probable design. I was sad that FFG went with the Kihraxz over the Preybird. I don't know if a niche still exists for ships like the Avenger or the Skipray; they might already be filled. The Avenger role is probably covered by the Advanced and the Defender.The Skipray would add a turreted ship to Empire, which is not their thing in the X-Wing game.

I may just need to make a Shapeways order.

The terrible decision to allow two different damage decks to allow gaming of a core game mechanic undercuts any validity they have as trying to create a balanced playing field.

I'll start with the easy one. FFG, you have disappointed me with the Scyk. It should have been 12 points, had a straight green one maneuver, and more title options.

At 12 points it straight-up outclasses an Academy Tie or a Z-Wing. It should have cost 13 points, and the title should have cost 1pt, specifically so that there couldn't be a list with 5x HLC ships.

Also maybe a boost instead of a barrel roll, or like, an illicit slot. Need Scum Aces, ASAP.

Also, hurry up with my fancy dial upgrades. My wallet is ready.

Why was TA not a K4 clone and why would such a garbage astromech need to cost 2 points?

Why only one copy of Integrated Astromech? (The Starviper came with two copies of Autothrusters, so we have precedent)

Additionally, I recently repainted a micro-machine X-wing in order to practice before I paint one of my actual minis. The paint job turned out alright despite the fact I was sitting in a HMMWV and I had to set it down every so often to move the truck so we would be close enough to the students. Basically, some of the lines turned out to be a bit blobby while others were really straight. Considering how I haven't tried painting since 2010, I felt that my repainted X-wing gave me the confidence to repaint my FFG minis. However, now I can't show off my special little snowflake that I created on the repaint forum because that forum no longer exists and my work is definitely not worth its own thread, much like most of the forum topics that exist anyways because the moderators tend to let six or seven threads with the same topic devolve into breakfast disputes. Not that I don't like reading some of them, but seriously? Can't we move the click-bait-ey threads to the circular sub-forum? I might be a little off my rocker, but also, I guess I'm still mad about the repaint forum disappearing. And TLT being only 6 points. And the missed opportunity to release some cool astomechs that don't suck. Sometimes I wonder why I even play when it's almost a given that I will lose using the X-wing despite my skill being the same or better than last year when I was winning all the time using T-65s. I get it, everyone is afraid of power creep but I am getting tired of people here in the forums and elsewhere saying they worry about the X-65 getting a really good buff because of only two pilots (Biggs and Wedge). I say, well Wedge should be feared and maybe if you weren't flying a two ship PWT list you wouldn't be concerned that Biggs is your only target for two or three turns. I'm sorry you payed 99 bucks to get a C-3PO, but let's be honest, you should have honestly learned to play something other than the Chewie/Leebo or RAC/Fel. We get it, you feel like you are good at the game because nobody ever gets guns on Fel but that isn't your skill buddy, it's his insane post maneuver movement that allows you to basically be anywhere despite your best efforts of always doing a2 green hard turn to clear stress next to everyone. I guess the long and short of it is that I really liked my repaint and plan on posting a picture but I still have no idea how to share the picture despite having seen step by step instructions on this forum on how to do it. It's been three years since I first started lurking these forums and playing the game and it just escapes me on how I can't figure out how to share my pictures from imgur to the forum. So, yeah, that.
