My dice stickers are coming loose.
When I saw this sticker thing, I thought should I buy the game I would wash those cubes in isopropyl alcohol or at least soapy water before adhering those stickers to the cubes. They're molded plastic after all. You may be able to varnish them on. I'd research beforehand to assure yourself that is a viable option.
Dice aside, I'm still on the fence for this game. It seems like a game designed in anticipation of sales of expansions to bring it to its potential.

Not sure I've seen an FFG game NOT designed in anticipation of expansions.

I am sure FFG will send you more stickers if you ask nicely.
When you stick them on, ensure that the stickers are entirely inside the depressions. The raised ridges will then protect them from coming loose.
I followed these steps:
- Carefully place stickers inside depressions.
- Burnish edges with toothpick.
- Apply 2 coats of spray-on flat clear-coat.
Finished first play with no problems. Seem pretty durable now.
Should have used isopropel alcohol on the dice prior to applying the stickers to clean the surface of oil.
Are the 2nd ed dice close enough to use perhaps w a translation table?
(Recently got a 2nd ed base set and surprised to see the terrain dice there had stickers as well.)
