New list - Rebels

By cammster, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So i usually run Dash with Outrider, HLC, APL, Lone Wolf, R2D2 & 2 b wings

I want to do something a bit different so any help would be appreciated I have the below

YT2400

4x Bwing

1x Z95

2x Kwing

so only a small collection. I did get the new set but sold the tie/fo and the X wing with the cards as there were people in the store who really wanted them and I recouped pretty much the who cost of the set from it. ( i only really wanted the damage cards and the templates)

I have run a BBBZ list before so please dont suggest that.

I am open to Proxing a few cards (not pilots though) as long as its not proxing the whole lot

I also might be able to pick up 1, possible 2 A wings as well.

My usual opponents run brobots, 3x x wing, tie swarm and also a palpmobile list

I like to play 2 B-Wings and 2 X-Wings, it is a very versatile list and you can quickly adapt to different scenarios with it.
You may lack 2 X-Wings for that list, but that's something you can keep in mind for the future.

Other than that I sometimes like to field 3 B-Wings with advanced sensors.
That way, you can make almost every round an action and still bring the hurt. And instead of the Z-95 you simply beed up the B-Wings.
Maybe a Named Pilot or two

I was thinking Outrider with 2 K wings,

is there anything worth getting in the Awing packs or should i give them a miss and look to get some y wings instead? and run tlt btl-a4?

That really depends on your playstyle, and maybe what you favour.
I allwas buy my ships in the order I favour them the most (that's why I still have 0 Y-Wings)

However the Y-Wing has options for some powerfull builds, one is 4x Gold Squadron Pilot/Syndicate Thug btl-a4 with an either the R2 Astromech or the Unhinged Astromech. straight 100 pts
But there are several more and I don't know many of them (as I don't play Y-Wings)

The A-Wing is not seen that often, as it has unbalanced pointcosts and the Refit Card didn't do that much to fix it, however there are some players that love it (I play it sometimes aswell) and the box has one of the best cards in game (Push the Limit) and on of the best Pilots (Tycho)

My advice is, buy what you like the most and what fits you playstyle the most, that way you may even have fun while loosing.
The A-Wing is fast and Agile, while the Y-Wing is slow, but packs a punch
