Number of cards in the Gozanti expansion?

If you look at the picture you can see three Ordnance tubes, three Optimized generators and three Automated protocols.

I just watched a Youtube review of the Gozanti and the author said that there are just two copies of each of mentioned cards.

Do you get two or three copies of those cards?

Two of each in mine IIRC

Yep, two of each, and the contents booklet says two of each as well. However, it also says two sets of Target Lock tokens but there wasn't any...

It seems like a bummer,,.

for $70 we don't even get 2 Targeting Computer upgrades for the TIEs. Or maybe we do... gotta wait to open the box for the actual reveal.

Perhaps the photo is asterisked somewhere with the clichéd, "Contents may not be exactly as illustrated" or something...?

I'll post a manifest of what I'll find out hopefully today

Yeah I only had 2 of each. Was it my review you watched?

Granted 2 is all you'll likely ever need, since no legal build allows more than 2 Epic Ships.

That's disappointing, but I suppose it's still plenty for your own epic squad. I mean, who is going to use 3 of one mod in their epic squad? I'd probably diversify and use different mods. But like I said, it's still disappointing.

Two of each for me

Since I tend to supply both sides for games at my house I certainly could use 4 of each Epic card :( without having to purchase a second Gonzanti.

That's assuming you're only supplying ships for one side. I sometimes supply both sides, and it would be nice to have a few more cards.

That said, chances are that the ships will desire different mods, and if not, the cards can always be proxied.

I suppose it's a minor issue for me, I'm just a completionist and like to have everything fully covered and set up.

Hence the reason after much resistance I buy the minimum number of ships and proxy the cards. :(

The CDO completionist in me aches but I have too many ships not in my kit now and just taking up space in my closet. I need to save my money for Wave 8 and Veterans.

If it's in your house with your stuff, I'd almost certainly be inclined to favour proxying the cards if you need 'em. Odds aren't great you'll need them all the same anyway, and even if you do... just hand a reference card to each side and call it good. :)

I got 4 of each

eventually since I bought a second gozanti!!!!! I'll get it next week.

So I just worked it out...

Instead of a third of each of the mods, we got 3 ordnance cards. Homing missiles, cluster missiles and ion torpedoes.

I am ok with that personally - still adds up to the same number - but I can understand if others are not.

Hysterically, the box art is still showing the previewed (x3 mods) image!

So far 2 of each of the modifications.

Keep in mind that with the 5 epic point cap for epic dogfight (3 for Team epic) you will never have more than 2 huge ships on your side of the table.

FFG develops their products for their primary formats which is 100 point standard, and 300 point / 5 epic points epic dogfight. That is why the raider has 4 TIE advanced titles and ATC even though it only comes with 1 TIE advanced. That is also why Rebel Aces come with 3 copies of Chardaan refit. You get 2 Rebel aces and 4 A-wings and you got a full A-wing squadron.

Anyways wrapping up Christmas gifts and getting ready for the trip to the relatives. I will see the new Star Wars movie on the 25th. Until then Merry Christmas.

Yes. It was your video.

Great job. Thanks.

Unless you and your friends play 6 point epic games with your whole collection. But at that point you wouldn't mind using proxies, but it still would be nice to have cards on the field.
